Website Design Concept

Kristin's Plumbing & Heating

Honest pricing is treated as part of the service in this clean, light website concept for a plumbing and heating company.

Kristin's Plumbing & Heating website concept homepage

This is a design concept: a website we designed as a proposal for Kristin's Plumbing & Heating. It was not commissioned, and West Coast Media Solutions is not affiliated with Kristin's Plumbing & Heating.

At a Glance

We designed this concept for Kristin's Plumbing & Heating, which handles plumbing, heating and gas work for homes and businesses across the Lower Mainland, with emergency service around the clock. The six-section page is bright and near-white, with a monogram logo, a hero that pairs emergency help with transparent pricing, six service cards that each invite a request, reasons to choose the team, reviews, service areas and a free quote request.

The Brief

Worry about the bill is one reason people put off calling a plumber. Here the design had to make the pricing feel honest and an urgent call feel easy.

  • Keep an Emergency Line button in the navigation, ready for burst pipes, gas leaks, flooding or no heat.
  • State upfront pricing and a workmanship guarantee in a trust strip directly under the hero.
  • Give every service card its own Request Service link, so interest can turn into a request on the spot.
  • Show builders that rough-in and finishing work for new construction is part of the offer.

What We Designed

The header carries a K monogram beside the company name and a small tagline: licensed, insured, trusted. The hero opens by noting that 24/7 emergency service is available, then the headline Expert Plumbing & Heating You Can Count On, followed by Get a Free Quote and Our Services. Four figures below cover experience, jobs completed, rating and the satisfaction guarantee, and a five-point trust strip comes after them.

We kept the background close to white and the text near black, so the copper accent on the buttons does the guiding. Headings in DM Serif Display add a touch of craft, and Outfit keeps service details clear. Each of the six service cards, from general plumbing and hot water tanks to heating systems and new construction, ends with the same Request Service prompt.

Emergency Line button

The main navigation button is labelled Emergency Line, with a phone icon, rather than a generic contact link.

Five-point trust strip

Licensed and bonded, fully insured, 24/7 emergency service, upfront pricing and a workmanship guarantee, in one line.

New construction

Rough-in and finishing for new builds, additions and commercial projects, with code compliance stated.

Emergency prompt

A Plumbing Emergency? prompt within the quote section, giving urgent visitors a faster route than a quote request.

How We Achieved It

Each section leads into the next. Service cards lead to a request, the trust section leads to reviews, and reviews lead on to the service areas and the free quote section. The navigation stays short, with Services, About, Reviews, Areas and Contact, and the emergency button set apart in copper.

Pricing is handled as a promise rather than a sales line: upfront pricing appears in the trust strip, transparent pricing in the hero copy and a satisfaction guarantee among the figures. Two routes run side by side to the end of the page, a free quote for planned work and the emergency line for anything that cannot wait.
