Website Design Concept

Rahelu Plumbing & Heating

A Surrey plumbing and heating firm in business since 1996, which also sells plumbing supplies, presented in one dark and confident website concept.

This is a design concept: a website we designed as a proposal for Rahelu Plumbing & Heating. It was not commissioned, and West Coast Media Solutions is not affiliated with Rahelu Plumbing & Heating.

At a Glance

Since 1996, Rahelu Plumbing & Heating has worked across the Lower Mainland from its base in Surrey, and it also sells plumbing supplies. On one page, the concept presents both sides of the business: six services from plumbing and heating to sprinkler systems and ventilation, four kinds of client from homes to new construction, a retail range of fixtures and fittings, and a free estimate form at the close.

The Brief

Close to three decades of work in Surrey counts for little unless a visitor sees it at once. Our job was to turn that history, and a business that both installs and sells, into a reason to ask for an estimate.

  • Lead with the years in business, the work guarantee and emergency cover, all within the hero.
  • Show that the firm works on homes, townhouses, commercial buildings and new construction, not only household repairs.
  • Give the plumbing supply side its own place in the navigation and in the list of services.
  • Collect estimate requests through a short form that asks which service is needed.

What We Designed

The page opens on an almost black, blue-tinted background, with the headline, Plumbing & Heating Done Right, set in warm white. A small line above it notes service across the Lower Mainland since 1996, and below it the phone number and a View Services button lead into four figures: years in business, the BBB rating, emergency cover and the work guarantee. Four short points follow on same-day service, licensing, quality products and staff screened by ownership.

Headlines use DM Serif Display and the supporting copy uses Outfit, while the wordmark is simply the family name followed by a full stop. Copper buttons give the dark palette a warm accent, a nod to the pipe and fittings the business installs and sells. The story section, Built on Family Values and Hard Work, comes next, followed by four client types, six services and the estimate form.

Family story

A section on how the business began in 1996 and the values it still works by.

Four client types

Residential, commercial, new construction and retail customers, each with a short line on the work involved.

Retail supply

Faucets, sinks, toilets and ABS and PEX fittings, presented as part of the offer rather than an afterthought.

Free estimate form

Name, email, phone, a service menu and a project description, under the heading Need a Free Estimate?

How We Achieved It

We kept the navigation short and literal: About, Services, Products, Team and Contact, with Free Quote set apart as the one button. Each label points to a part of the page that answers a single question, so a builder planning new construction and a homeowner whose water heater has failed can both find their way within a scroll or two.

The estimate form asks only for the essentials and lets the visitor pick a service from a menu, so each request arrives already sorted. The phone number sits in the hero for anyone in a hurry, and the footer carries privacy, terms and accessibility links, small details that support the trust signals at the top of the page.
