Website Design Concept
AJ's Electrical
Two detailed checklists, one for homes and one for businesses, anchor this website concept for a locally owned electrical company in Delta.
This is a design concept: a website we designed as a proposal for AJ's Electrical. It was not commissioned, and West Coast Media Solutions is not affiliated with AJ's Electrical.
At a Glance
Based in Delta and serving the Lower Mainland, AJ's Electrical is a locally owned electrical service and repair company. Our one-page concept for its website keeps the tone neighbourly and the content practical: two service cards list exactly what the team handles for homes and for businesses, six promises explain how the work is done, and an invitation to request a free estimate closes the page.

The Brief
A locally owned firm earns trust through specifics. The page had to feel as approachable as a neighbour while naming the exact jobs a homeowner or business might be searching for.
- Present the company as locally owned and operated, with licensing and contact details visible from the top.
- Name specific residential and commercial jobs, from pot lights to LED retrofits, so visitors recognize their own.
- Explain how the team works, from fully stocked trucks to treating every home as their own.
- Make a free quote the natural next step, from the opening screen to the closing section.
What We Designed
We set this concept in Outfit and DM Sans, two open, geometric typefaces, with the headline in mixed case: Expert electrical services for your home and business. Deep navy pairs with warm amber buttons. A slim bar above the menu carries the licensing note, an email address and the phone number, and the logo pairs AJ's Electrical with the words service and repair.
The opening leads with a short line on local ownership, two buttons (request a free quote, view our services) and a row of figures and assurances. The services section then splits into a residential card and a commercial card, each naming eight jobs, before Why Choose AJ's Electrical? lists six promises. Locations, customer reviews and a closing free estimate invitation complete the page.
Two service checklists
Residential and commercial cards each name eight jobs, from smoke detectors and landscape lighting to tenant improvements and LED retrofits.
Six plain promises
Qualified technicians, prompt service, care in the home, budget-minded solutions, stocked trucks and free estimates, stated without fuss.
Utility bar
Licensing, email and phone sit in a slim bar above the menu, so credentials are visible before the first scroll.
Locations section
A dedicated section covers the Lower Mainland cities served, backed by a locations item in the main menu.
How We Achieved It
The checklists do most of the selling. Someone searching for pot light installation or an electrical inspection can scan a card and find their job named, which says more than a general promise of quality. Accepted credit cards and free estimates appear in the assurance strip near the top, answering two practical questions before anyone has to ask them.
Navigation stays short: home, services, locations, reviews and contact, plus the phone number and a free quote button. The footer repeats the service list and places the company in Delta, BC, which supports the local message without leaning on it. With no form on this version, the phone, the email address and the quote buttons carry every enquiry.
