Website Design Concept

Crossroads Stamped Concrete

Finished in the colours of the material itself, this concept for a family-owned Langley concrete company is signed with a compass medallion.

Crossroads Stamped Concrete website concept homepage

This is a design concept: a website we designed as a proposal for Crossroads Stamped Concrete. It was not commissioned, and West Coast Media Solutions is not affiliated with Crossroads Stamped Concrete.

At a Glance

Family owned in Langley since 1988, Crossroads Stamped Concrete pours, stamps and finishes driveways, patios, pool decks, stairs and floors across Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. We designed a nine-section website concept that treats concrete as a craft: a three-step account of the work, six things the company builds, a finishes section, recent work, a service area from the North Shore to Chilliwack and a quote form.

The Brief

Decorative concrete is chosen with the eyes but bought on trust in the base underneath. The page had to show both the finish and the groundwork behind it.

  • Introduce a family business that has finished concrete by hand since 1988.
  • Explain the work beneath the surface: prep and forming, placing and pouring, finishing and sealing.
  • Let visitors explore finishes and patterns before they ask for a price.
  • Make the service area, from the North Shore to Chilliwack, clear before the quote form.

What We Designed

We drew the palette from the material: a pale, warm grey like fresh concrete, charcoal text and a terracotta accent. Archivo carries the headline, Stamped concrete, finished by hand since 1988., with Spline Sans for reading and Spline Sans Mono as a monospaced accent; a small line above it reads Family owned · Langley, BC · Est. 1988. The signature compass medallion, shown in the opening, gives the brand a mark that feels pressed into a slab.

The Craft section follows with three numbered steps, each under its own short line: Built from the ground down., Poured to grade, built to drain., and Stamped, stained, and sealed. What we build covers driveways, patios, pool decks, stairs and steps, floors, and walkways and sidewalks. Then come finishes and patterns, recent work, the service area, customer reviews and the closing invitation, Let us quote your project.

Compass medallion

A signature compass medallion appears in the opening, a brand mark drawn from the company's own stamped work.

Three-step craft

Prep and forming, placing and pouring, and finishing and sealing each get a short headline and a plain explanation.

Finishes and patterns

A dedicated section, linked from the opening screen, shows the range of looks one material can take.

North Shore to Chilliwack

The communities served are set out in their own section, followed by customer reviews and the closing quote form.

How We Achieved It

The opening offers three routes: request a free quote, see finishes and patterns, or call. A homeowner who is still choosing a look can browse first, while one who is ready can go straight to a price. The quote form asks for name, phone, email, the type of work and a message, and it is protected against spam.

The three craft steps carry the argument that a good finish depends on good preparation (gravel base, rebar, forms, slope and drainage), so the page sells quality without leaning on adjectives. A skip-to-content link helps keyboard users past the menu, and the footer repeats the services and the explore links and gives a Langley mailing address.
