Website Design Concept
G.V.A. Power Vac
A concept that gives a duct cleaning company with six decades behind it a separate, clear answer for every kind of property it looks after.
This is a design concept: a website we designed as a proposal for G.V.A. Power Vac. It was not commissioned, and West Coast Media Solutions is not affiliated with G.V.A. Power Vac.
At a Glance
G.V.A. Power Vac has cleaned ducts, furnaces, dryer vents and HVAC systems across Greater Vancouver and Vancouver Island since 1966. Our seven-section concept sorts the work by sector: commercial and strata, industrial, residential and marine. It walks through a four-stage process that ends with a report and invoice, gathers the company's credentials in one place, and closes with an estimate form that asks for property type and service.

The Brief
A strata property manager, an industrial facility and a family home all need clean air, but each needs different work and a different kind of reassurance. One page had to speak to every one of them, marine vessels included.
- Sort the services by sector, so property managers, facility operators, homeowners and vessel owners each find their own list.
- Put six decades in business in the opening section as plain, early proof of reliability.
- Explain the job from estimate to report and invoice, so commercial buyers know what follows the cleaning.
- Ask for property type and service in the estimate form, so every request starts with the essentials.
What We Designed
Est. 1966 sits above the headline, Vancouver's leading duct cleaning professionals, which is set in white against a dark opening screen. Short badges beneath it point to local ownership, a living wage certification and a national Power Vac network. The four sectors then appear as cards, each tagged with its audience, such as property managers or marine vessels, and each listing the specific cleaning tasks involved, from HRV units to dust collectors.
Type and colour stay technical. Archivo Expanded, wide and engineered, sets the headings and suits mechanical work, while Hanken Grotesk handles the reading. The palette is cool and clean: a near-white background, deep blue-slate text and a dark navy for weight, which reads as clinical rather than decorative. After the sector cards come the process, the company's history under Helping customers breathe easier since 1966, its credentials and the estimate form.
Sector cards
Commercial and strata, industrial, residential and marine each get a card with an audience label and a list of tasks.
Four-stage process
Free estimate, scheduling, the Power Vac cleaning itself, then a report and invoice, set out under Clear communication, start to finish.
Credentials section
A trust section gathers the company's credentials in one place, so commercial buyers can check them before asking for an estimate.
Property-type estimate form
Visitors pick a property type and a service from two dropdowns, add their details and a message; spam protection screens out bots.
How We Achieved It
Each sector card works as a short checklist. The commercial and strata card lists dryer vents, hallway systems, HRV units and bathroom exhausts, while the industrial card adds dust collectors and notes crew training in confined spaces and fall protection. A property manager can confirm the scope of work before asking for an estimate, and a homeowner can skip straight to the residential list.
Estimate requests can start in several places: the Free Estimate button that ends the navigation, the first of two prompts under the headline, and the closing section, where the form sits. Its two dropdowns mean even a brief message arrives with the context needed to quote, and spam protection deters bots. A skip link and a page title naming duct and HVAC cleaning in Greater Vancouver and Vancouver Island round out the build.
