Website Design Concept
South Surrey Plumbing
This homeowner-focused plumbing concept pairs a twelve-service catalogue with practical tips and guides for small household jobs.
This is a design concept: a website we designed as a proposal for South Surrey Plumbing. It was not commissioned, and West Coast Media Solutions is not affiliated with South Surrey Plumbing.
At a Glance
This concept for South Surrey Plumbing, which has served Surrey, White Rock, Langley and the wider Lower Mainland since 2004, is aimed squarely at homeowners. Its seven sections open with a promise of transparent pricing and a one-year warranty, then run through twelve service cards from water heaters to ice makers, reviews, a tips and guides section, a free quote prompt and the areas served.

The Brief
Homeowners tend to look for help with one broken thing, a running toilet or a jammed disposal, rather than for a plumber in general. The concept needed to meet them at that job and give them a reason to trust the team with the next one.
- Give each common household job its own card, so visitors recognise their problem at a glance.
- Put transparent pricing and a one-year warranty on every job into the opening lines.
- Offer tips and guides that solve small problems and build trust before anyone picks up the phone.
- List the communities served, from South Surrey to Langley and White Rock, for people searching locally.
What We Designed
Even the thin bar above the navigation does a job, naming the service area, weekday hours and phone number. The hero headline, Expert Plumbing for Your Home, sits in white with a free estimate button and the phone number beneath. Three trust cards cover licensing, two decades of experience and customer ratings, then a band of figures sets out years in business, the number of service areas and the warranty on all work.
DM Serif Display headings give the brand an established look, and Outfit keeps the long service list easy to scan. Deep navy text on warm cream, with brass-coloured buttons, gives the page a tidy, residential feel. The service cards, each ending in a Learn More link, lead into homeowner reviews, two tips and guides articles, a free quote prompt and the service areas.
Twelve service cards
Water heaters, sinks, toilets, showers, shut-off valves and ice makers, each with a short note on the problem it solves.
Smart leak detectors
A card for monitoring devices with automatic shut-off that stop minor leaks becoming costly problems.
Tips and guides
Articles such as a rain barrel install guide and a quick fix for a jammed garbage disposal.
Warranty up front
A one-year warranty on all work, stated in the hero and again in the band of figures.
How We Achieved It
We treated search as part of the brief. The page title carries the phrases people type, such as plumber Surrey and White Rock plumbers, the headings name each service plainly, and the footer links to a sitemap. A Blog link in the main navigation gives the tips and guides a home of their own, next to Services, Reviews and About.
Free quote prompts appear three times, worded differently each time: Get a Free Quote in the navigation, Get Your Free Estimate in the hero, and a Ready for a Free Quote? section near the end. Both the top bar and the hero carry the phone number, and the footer groups services, company pages and contact details, so a visitor who reaches the bottom still has every route open.
