Website Design Concept

Gen Z Media

A one-page redesign concept that sells listing photography and video to busy realtors on speed, coverage and craft.

Gen Z Media website concept homepage

This is a design concept: a website we designed as a proposal for Gen Z Media. It was not commissioned, and West Coast Media Solutions is not affiliated with Gen Z Media.

At a Glance

Gen Z Media shoots real estate photography and video for realtors across the Lower Mainland. As a concept, we proposed a complete redesign of the studio's website: one scrolling page that moves from eight services, covering stills, video, reels, drone and twilight work, to a four-step process, selected work, three packages, the studio, common questions and a quote form. Deeper detail opens in overlay panels, and a switch lets visitors choose a light or dark version.

The Brief

A listing agent booking a shoot wants to know how fast the photos arrive, whether the studio covers their city and who they will deal with. The redesign had to answer all three early, then let the work make the case for craft.

  • Lead with next-morning delivery, same-day quotes, Lower Mainland coverage and a single photographer as the point of contact.
  • Present eight services, from HDR stills to vertical reels and drone work, so agents can mix and match.
  • Keep pricing plain, with three packages and a starting rate shown on every service.
  • Answer common questions, from bad weather to weekend shoots, before an agent reaches the quote form.

What We Designed

The opening screen sets the headline, Your listing deserves a film, in warm-white type, with a promise beneath it: quoted the same day, in your inbox the next morning. Buttons to request a quote or see the work come next, then a strip of four facts on delivery, quotes, coverage and contact. A band of city names, Vancouver through Abbotsford, marks the service area before eight service cards begin, each with a category label and a starting rate.

Archivo gives the headings a firm, contemporary weight, Inter Tight keeps the reading crisp, and JetBrains Mono lends the small labels a call-sheet precision. The palette stays restrained, pale grey and near-black with an amber accent, so the photography carries the colour. Even the theme switch speaks the trade: its two settings are named for tungsten and daylight, the two light sources a photographer balances indoors.

Tungsten and daylight

The light and dark switch is labelled with colour temperatures, 3200K Tungsten for dark and 5600K Daylight for light.

Service detail panels

Tap any of the eight services to open what is included, its turnaround and the standalone rate, without leaving the page.

Three packages

Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers sit alongside mix-and-match services, so agents can take a package or build their own.

Listing-ready quote form

Agents give their brokerage, the property address, a package and the list date, so each request arrives ready to scope.

How We Achieved It

We kept the redesign to one scrolling page and moved the deeper material into overlay panels, rather than spreading it across a homepage and five subpages. An agent between showings can take in the essentials quickly and open a service only when its detail matters. The header links straight to the work, services, process, pricing, FAQ and studio, with the theme switch and Request a quote at the end.

The FAQ deals with the practical worries before anyone has to ask, such as cost, how quickly photos arrive, bad weather, lighting gear and weekend shoots. The contact entry in the opening strip makes a point of one person, the photographer who shot the listing, rather than an agency switchboard. The quote form has spam protection built in, and a descriptive page title names the Lower Mainland for search.
