Website Design Concept
Israel & Sons Landscaping
Written in English and Spanish, this concept for a family landscaper in Chandler, Arizona, opens on a numbered plan of a back yard.
This is a design concept: a website we designed as a proposal for Israel & Sons Landscaping. It was not commissioned, and West Coast Media Solutions is not affiliated with Israel & Sons Landscaping.
At a Glance
From its base in Chandler, Arizona, family-owned Israel & Sons Landscaping has worked the East Valley since 2013. We designed three website concepts for it, presented together on an index page. This one is bilingual: an EN and ES switch moves the headings, buttons and copy between English and Spanish, and a second switch changes light and dark modes. Eight sections cover six services, recent work, how a job goes, service areas, common questions and an estimate form.

The Brief
A landscaper that speaks Spanish as readily as English needs a website that does the same. This concept had to give both languages equal standing on one page, from the headline to the estimate form.
- Give English and Spanish equal standing, with a single switch that moves the page between them.
- Show what a finished Chandler yard looks like before describing the services that build it.
- Present six services for homes and small commercial properties, and make booking two on one visit sound routine.
- Make a free estimate easy to request in either language, by form or by phone.
What We Designed
The headline reads Pavers, turf and shade built for the Chandler sun, or in Spanish, Adoquín, césped y sombra hechos para el sol de Chandler. A short introduction to the family crew follows, with buttons for a free estimate or a call, and three badges for accreditation, family ownership and language. Before the services begin, a plan drawing of a back yard marks four numbered features: a paver patio and walkway, artificial turf, drip irrigation and planting, and granite, trees and clean edges.
Newsreader, an editorial serif, pairs with Archivo, a sturdy sans, and the palette keeps to pale stone, near-black green and a deep leaf green accent, colours at home beside pavers, granite and turf. Even the language badge is considered: in English mode it tells visitors that Spanish is spoken, and in Spanish mode it says We speak English too. Headings stay plain and practical, such as How a job goes and Questions we get asked.
English and Spanish switch
An EN and ES control in the header moves headings, buttons, service descriptions and the estimate prompt from one language to the other.
Numbered yard plan
A plan drawing of a Chandler back yard shows how patio, turf, planting and granite fit together, labelled in both languages.
Six yard services
Maintenance, irrigation, pavers, artificial turf, tree work, and cleanups with haul away, each described in a short, practical paragraph.
Yard estimate form
Visitors give their city and the service they need, and the form is protected against spam.
How We Achieved It
Both languages live in one self-contained HTML file, so there is a single page to maintain rather than two sites drifting apart. Headings, buttons and body copy are written in English and Spanish within that file, and the switch shows one or the other. The same file handles light and dark modes, so a visitor can pair either language with either look, and the index page sets this concept beside the other two directions.
Navigation stays short: services, our work, why us, areas and contact, with the phone number at the end. A gallery of recent work follows the services, and How a job goes lays out four steps: a call or message, a walk of the property, a written estimate and crew day. Six common questions open as expandable answers before the closing section, Tell us about your yard, which holds the estimate form.
