Website Design Concept

Maplevolt Electric

A website concept for licensed electricians in Surrey and Langley, designed so a homeowner can ask for a visit almost as soon as the page opens.

Maplevolt Electric website concept homepage

This is a design concept: a website we designed as a proposal for Maplevolt Electric. It was not commissioned, and West Coast Media Solutions is not affiliated with Maplevolt Electric.

At a Glance

Maplevolt Electric works across Surrey, Langley and the wider Lower Mainland, and our website concept for it puts the request first: directly after the opening screen, a short form asks for a name, phone number and email. The rest of the page covers four service lines, a four-step process, the cities served and a fuller booking form, all in near-black, off-white and signal yellow.

The Brief

Someone standing next to a tripped panel wants a time slot, not a brochure. The page had to take that request on the first scroll and still make the case for anyone comparing electricians.

  • Take a name, phone number and email straight after the opening screen, before any sales copy.
  • Keep the emergency line within reach for power failures and tripping panels, day or night.
  • Explain service calls, residential, commercial and maintenance work in four short, numbered blocks.
  • Show every step from first call to final inspection so nothing about the job feels uncertain.

What We Designed

The headline, Power done right. The first time., is set in Anton, a tall condensed face, in off-white capitals on near-black, and a signal yellow accent cuts through the dark palette. Under the opening figures sits a small live panel labelled CH1 / Mains Supply, reading out voltage, frequency, an RMS stable flag and an OK status: a detail borrowed from the instruments electricians use every day.

The page then runs in the order a caller thinks: the request form, an emergency prompt for a power cut or a tripping panel, four numbered services, the reasons to choose Maplevolt, a four-step process, the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland areas covered, homeowner reviews, and a closing invitation to book a job or get a free quote. Inter keeps the body text plain, with Space Mono as a monospaced accent.

Live mains readout

A small CH1 panel in the opening screen reports 120V, 60Hz and an OK status, giving the brand a technical signature.

Tell us when

A request form with just name, phone and email sits straight after the opening screen, for visitors who already know they need help.

Around-the-clock line

A prompt for power cuts and tripping panels leads to the 24/7 line, kept separate from routine bookings.

First call to inspection

Four steps set out the job before it starts: call or request, on site assessment, licensed repair and guaranteed work.

How We Achieved It

We gave the page two ways in. The quick form asks for three details and nothing more, while the booking form at the close adds a subject and room for a message, for jobs that need explaining. Both forms include spam protection, and neither asks for more than the job requires. The navigation carries the phone number and a button for a free estimate.

The navigation points to services, why us, process, service areas, reviews and contact, so a visitor can go straight to the question on their mind. Each service block carries its own learn more link, and the footer gathers the credentials that matter in this trade: Red Seal, Technical Safety BC, and licensed and insured. A skip-to-content link lets keyboard users bypass the menu.
