Website Design Concept
True Electric
A call-first website concept for a Metro Vancouver electrical contractor that works across homes, businesses and strata buildings.
This is a design concept: a website we designed as a proposal for True Electric. It was not commissioned, and West Coast Media Solutions is not affiliated with True Electric.
At a Glance
Homes, businesses and strata buildings across Metro Vancouver are the territory of True Electric. Our concept for its website is a six-section page built around two actions, call now or get a free quote. It sets out five services, from EV charger installation to electrical planning reports, introduces a Red Seal team and carries an embedded map, all in deep navy with amber accents.

The Brief
Homeowners, businesses and strata properties each bring a different job to an electrician. The page had to serve all three while keeping the phone the quickest route to a booking.
- Lead with licensing, bonding and insurance before asking a visitor for anything.
- Give EV charger installation its own place in the menu and on the page.
- Show that one team handles everything from kitchen plugs to high-rises and strata planning reports.
- Make calling and requesting a free quote the two clear actions on the opening screen.
What We Designed
We set the headline in Bebas Neue, a condensed display face: Metro Vancouver's trusted electricians, in pale capitals on deep navy. Amber fills the call now button, and IBM Plex Sans handles the body copy with a slightly engineered feel. Directly under the two opening buttons, a strip of three credentials does the reassuring: 24/7 emergency service, a one-year parts and labour warranty, and WCB good standing.
The services follow as five cards: residential, commercial, EV chargers, repair and maintenance, and electrical planning. A team section, headed Dedicated. Certified. Reliable., introduces electricians holding Red Seal inter-provincial qualifications, and the one-year parts and labour warranty gets a heading of its own. The page also carries an embedded map, and the footer names WorkSafeBC and Technical Safety BC alongside the main links.
EV chargers up front
EV charging has its own menu item and service card, covering homes, condos and workplaces and Level 1 through Level 3 chargers.
Electrical planning
A service card for planning reports on new builds, renovations and strata properties, aimed at projects that start on paper.
Credential strip
Emergency service, a one-year parts and labour warranty and WCB good standing sit directly under the opening buttons.
Two clear actions
Call now and get a free quote lead the opening screen, with the phone number repeated in the menu.
How We Achieved It
This concept has no form to fill in; it is built for the phone. The number sits in the navigation beside the services, about, EV chargers and contact links, and the call now button leads the opening screen. Anyone still comparing electricians finds a free quote button right beside it, so neither kind of customer has to look for the next step.
Each service card answers what its audience tends to ask: commercial covers offices, restaurants, government buildings and high-rises, while residential runs from kitchen plugs to full renovations with free consultations. Keeping all five services on one page, in short cards, lets a property manager and a homeowner each find their line quickly. Credentials appear three times, in the opening strip, the team section and the footer.
