Website Case Study

Hypocrisy.online

One premium domain, one page: a sales site designed to help a buyer picture what they could build on the name, then make an offer.

At a Glance

The domain hypocrisy.online is a premium one-word name, also listed on the Ultimate Domain Names marketplace. We designed and built a one-page sales site for it in the same light style as the marketplace. The page explains why the name commands attention, suggests what it could become, from a media platform to a satire brand, sets out how a secure purchase works and ends with a single offer and inquiry form.

The Brief

A domain sells on imagination as much as on facts. The page had to make the name feel like the start of a business, then make the next step simple.

  • Lead with the domain name itself and a direct way to make an offer.
  • Explain plainly why a one-word name on the .online extension carries weight.
  • Show buyers concrete ways the name could be used, from podcasts to publishing.
  • Spell out the purchase, through escrow and transfer, so an offer feels safe to make.

What We Designed

The domain name is the headline, under an Available for Purchase label, with buttons to make an offer or learn more and a short strip noting its length, the .online extension, global appeal and that it is brandable. Below, six cards explain why the name commands attention, six more sketch possible uses, three steps walk through the purchase, and a closing call to own the conversation leads into the form.

We matched the look to Ultimate Domain Names so a buyer moving between the two recognizes the seller: white and warm off-white backgrounds, dark navy type and antique gold for the buttons. Playfair Display gives the name and headings a confident, editorial presence, and DM Sans keeps the supporting copy plain. Small icons head each card, which keeps a dense page easy to scan.

Offer-first opening

The domain name and a Make an Offer button share the first screen, so interest can turn into an offer at once.

Use-case cards

Media platform, podcast network, publishing, satire brand, education and app ideas help buyers picture the name in use.

Secure purchase steps

Inquiry, escrow payment and domain transfer are laid out in order, so the process holds no surprises.

Product listing data

Structured data marks the domain up as a product for sale, so it is described to search engines as a listing.

How We Achieved It

One page does all the selling, so the navigation is minimal: a link back to Ultimate Domain Names and an Inquire Now button. There is one offer and inquiry form, asking for a name, an email, the offer and a message, and no newsletter to compete with it. The form is protected with Google reCAPTCHA and additional checks.

For search and sharing, a JSON-LD graph describes the organization, website, page, image and a product listing for the domain itself. The build also includes a favicon set, an Open Graph image, robots.txt, a sitemap and an llms.txt file written for AI assistants. The footer points back to Ultimate Domain Names, with links to a FAQ and contact.
