Website Case Study

Stavros Auto Body

A dark, confident website for a Vancouver collision repair shop, built to explain ICBC claims, the services on offer and how a repair unfolds from first call to final check.

At a Glance

On Main Street in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, Stavros Auto Body has repaired vehicles since 1978 and is part of the ICBC Repair Network. We designed its one-page website to answer a driver's first questions quickly: what the shop repairs, how an insurance claim works, what the lifetime warranty covers, what the repair process looks like and where to find the shop.

The Brief

After a collision, a driver wants to know whether a shop can fix the car, whether it will deal with the insurer and how to reach it. The site had to answer all three from the first screen.

  • Establish the shop's long history and ICBC Repair Network standing on the opening screen.
  • Lay out collision repair, auto painting and windshield repair clearly, with insurance work explained.
  • Show the repair process from first call to quality check, so drivers know what happens next.
  • Make calling the shop and finding it on Main Street as direct as possible.

What We Designed

An ICBC Repair Network badge leads the hero, above the headline Vancouver's Collision Experts, Precision Restoration, a call button and a link to services. The page then tells the shop's story with four badges (ICBC top performer, lifetime warranty, rental cars, all makes), lists its numbered services, gives ten reasons to choose the shop, walks through the process, shows fleet partners and reviews, and ends with a map of the Main Street location.

A near-black background with soft grey text gives the page a serious, premium mood, closer to a showroom than a garage, and a warm amber yellow picks out the buttons and highlights. Bebas Neue brings tall, condensed capitals, Instrument Serif adds a refined serif contrast, and DM Sans keeps the body copy readable. The mix reads as precise and dependable, which suits a shop promising manufacturer-specification repairs.

From claim to like-new

A four-step walkthrough shows drivers what happens between the first phone call and the final quality check.

Lifetime warranty

The warranty on all repairs is called out on its own, as well as among the shop's four badges.

How We Achieved It

The services are numbered and specific: ICBC collision repair, auto painting and windshield repair, with a note that rental cars are included with all insurance work. The process section breaks a repair into four steps, from the first call and the insurance claim to the repair itself and a final quality check. The phone number appears in the navigation and in the hero, so calling takes a single tap on a phone.

Five policies (privacy, cookies, terms of use, legal notice and accessibility) open as overlays from the footer, keeping the main page focused on repairs. Because the site is a single page, the navigation links to About, Services, Process, Reviews and Contact move straight to each section, and keyboard users can jump past the menu with a skip link. An embedded map pins the shop on Main Street.
