Placeholder Page Case Study

RMLE Holdings

A quiet, minimal holding page that gives a private holdings company's corporate domain a professional presence while its full website is in development.

At a Glance

RMLE Holdings LTD. is a privately held corporate holdings company whose full website is in development. In the meantime, we designed a single placeholder page for its corporate domain: the company name, a short note that the new site is on its way, and one button to get in touch. The page is deliberately minimal and carries no positioning tagline.

The Brief

Even before there is much to say, a holdings company's domain should look settled. The page had to be credible, discreet and useful.

  • Give the corporate domain a professional face while the full website is developed.
  • Say only what is needed: who the company is and that a new site is coming.
  • Offer one direct way to get in touch.

What We Designed

The page is built around the company name, RMLE Holdings, set in EB Garamond, a classic serif with the measured tone of a letterhead. Outfit, a clean geometric sans, handles the small supporting lines. A short note explains that the new website is in development and invites inquiries, and a single Get in Touch button is the only action on the page.

Colour is kept to three notes: a warm stone background, deep navy for the name and the button, and charcoal for the text. Leaving out a tagline was a deliberate choice. For a private holdings company, restraint reads as confidence, and a quiet page says more than borrowed marketing language would.

Serif wordmark

The company name in EB Garamond gives the page the weight of a formal letterhead.

Status note

One brief line explains that the new website is in development, so visitors know what to expect.

One clear action

A single Get in Touch button gives visitors a direct route to make an inquiry.

How We Achieved It

We kept the build as lean as the design: one page, two typefaces and a single action, with nothing on screen to distract from the company name. The footer carries the full legal name, RMLE Holdings LTD., and a copyright line whose year updates itself, part of our standard build.

Simple as it looks, the page carries the same search and sharing essentials as our full sites: a meta description that introduces the company, structured data and a 1200 by 630 Open Graph image, so the domain presents itself properly in search results and when the link is shared. It does one job, and it does it quietly.
